Are we really a Christian nation?

My name is not Belle Hurley. That is a pen-name that I use for the internet for personal reasons, mostly to due with the fact that I post a lot of stuff about islam and that, itself, can be a dangerous thing to do anymore.

First of all, let me be perfectly clear. I am a Christian. And, I know for a fact that my God reigns. Nothing has taken Him by surprise.

Second, I am bound to offend some or all of you at some point. That is just the way it is. The truth does that to some....
I deal with a lot of ugly truths day in and day out. One of those ugly truths is that Mr. Obama was not entirely wrong when he said that we (the USA) was no longer a Christian nation. How can we be a Christian nation?
We as a nation have sanctioned the death of upwards of 60 million babies.
Sixty. Million.
To put that is some perspective.....
-that is 10x the amount of Jews that Hitler killed.
-that is 60x the amount of American warriors that have been killed in action since 1773.

So-called Christian Conservatives have told me publically that if those 60 million babies had been born then that would just be that many more mouths to feed and therefor justifying abortion. Never mind that those were 60 million lives that God ordained to live.  We, as a nation, ordained them to be murdered.

How can we be Christian when we have homosexuality in the Church?
We are Christians, followers of Christ, The Son of God, A Third of The Holy Trinity, The Alpha and The Omega, The Living Word.....Homosexuality is FORBIDDEN by God.
What is even worse is that we have homosexuality at the pulpit.

How can we be a Christian nation when we won't even acknowledge our brothers and sisters all over the world that face daily persecution, tribulation and death for their faith in Christ Jesus? We have more American people siding with muslims and islam than those who stand up for the victims!
We can't even stay up to pray. How many of you felt indignant towards the disciples when they fell asleep?

We have Christians being persecuted here in the US and we don't say a word.....

I don't have the answers. My point with writing this is to make you think about the fact that we are not really a Christian nation anymore and that we can not just expect God's Mercy when the the time comes for Him to weigh in on what we have done......

Ex-trooper convicted in double fatal crash wants money for his injuries

Accident resulted in death of two sisters

BY BETH HUNDSDORFER - News-Democrat

Former Illinois State trooper Matt Mitchell is asking the state to compensate him for injuries from a crash in which he hit and killed two Collinsville sisters at triple-digit speeds.

Mitchell filed a worker's compensation case on Sept. 13 against the Illinois State Police. The case is pending.

"I wouldn't have filed the case if I thought it was frivolous or didn't have merit," said Kerri O'Sullivan, of the St. Louis firm of Brown and Crouppen, who represents Mitchell. "People get hurt at work all the time. It's our job as lawyers to help people with the difficult and complicated administrative process of worker's compensation."

Three worker's compensation lawyers say they believe Mitchell could receive compensation for the injuries he received in a Nov. 23, 2007, high-speed crash that resulted in the deaths of sisters Kelli and Jessica Uhl and injured Kelly and Christine Marler, of Fayetteville.

Thomas Q. Keefe, a Belleville lawyer who represented the Uhl girls' parents, Kimberly Schlau and Brian Uhl, in a civil lawsuit against the State Police, called Mitchell's claim "outrageous, but predictable."

 "This man has no shame. He has no shame when he recanted his plea of guilty. He has no shame when he insisted on the stand that he was not responsible for this crash," Keefe said.            

  "And he has no shame when he files for worker's compensation benefits."

Mitchell was driving 126 mph in busy day-after-Thanksgiving traffic on Interstate 64 near O'Fallon while sending and receiving e-mails and talking to his girlfriend on his cell phone moments before the crash. Mitchell was responding to an accident near Lebanon, but help already was at the scene of the accident where Mitchell was responding, authorities said.

Mitchell crossed over the median and hit the girls' car head-on. He sustained severe leg injuries.

After the accident, Mitchell was suspended with pay for nearly two years, drawing his $68,000 annual salary. He resigned from the Illinois State Police after pleading guilty to the criminal charges.

Mitchell pleaded guilty to reckless homicide and reckless driving in exchange for a sentence of 30 months probation.

Although Mitchell pleaded guilty to causing the accident, he can still receive a worker's compensation award, three lawyers agreed, saying that the only defense the state may have is whether or not Mitchell was doing his job as a state trooper when the accident occurred.

  "If the accident occurred in the furtherance of the function of your employer, even if it was done in a negligent manner, it can be compensible under the Worker's Compensation Act," said Rod Thompson, a Belleville worker's compensation attorney.

  "If an accident arises out of the course and scope of a person's employment, the employee is entitled to worker's compensation, despite their poor judgment," said Bruce R. Cook, a Belleville lawyer who handles worker's compensation cases.

Ian Elfenbaum, a Chicago lawyer, said an employee can be under the influence of drugs or alcohol when an injury occurs and still collect worker's comp benefits.

  "You can be reckless and even negligent while working in the course and scope of your employment," said Elfenbaum. "Negligence or recklessness on the part of the employee is not a defense for the employer."

During the hearing on the civil suit filed by the Uhls' parents in the Illinois Court of Claims, the Illinois attorney general, who represented the state police in the suit, signed a stipulation agreeing that, despite his plea to the criminal charges, Mitchell was acting in his capacity as a state trooper when the accident occurred.

  "That admission seals the deal," Thompson said. "That's all you need to get a compensible injury."

During the April Court of Claims hearing, Mitchell denied that he was responsible for the crash, despite pleading guilty three days earlier to reckless homicide and reckless driving charges.

Illinois worker's compensation was designed to allow injured workers easier access to health benefits and awards, Cook said, adding that "this claim is an insult to taxpayers and those two girls' families."

Under the Illinois Worker's Compensation Act, each injured body part is assigned a number of weeks of pay, and a hearing officer determines the percent of each injured body part.

  For example, a hearing officer could determine that a person suffered a 50-percent loss of a leg. If the employee's gross salary was $60,000, he would receive 107.50 weeks at 60 percent of their weekly salary, or $74,423. But it could be an even greater award if the hearing officer finds Mitchell sustained a permanent total disability or finds the state must pay the difference between the amount that he earns now and the amount he earned as a state trooper.

That could be hundreds of thousands of dollars, Keefe said, that will be paid by the taxpayers. The benefits are non-taxable.

  "But he still has to get out of bed every day and know that he caused the death of those two girls, and know that he didn't take responsibility for that," Keefe said. "He still has to look himself in the mirror and think about the fact his actions forever took two girls away from their parents, then he filed for worker's compensation benefits."

Sir, and I use the term loosely, those were our people that were murdered. They did NOTHING to deserve what happened to them. Their families did NOTHING to deserve the pain that they live with to this day. (The pain, I might add, that you trample on.) The US did nothing to deserve what happened on 9/11 and in my mind was fairly mild in reaction to it.

I would further like for you to 'teach' me about American Imperialism.....because as far as I can tell we are not an Empire. We don't take other countries and make them a part of ours. We don't force other governments to bow down and pay us for their right to exist.......

Sheriff Joe, whom I LOVE AND ADMIRE, penned this letter regarding the lawsuit brought against him by the U.S. Department of Justice...

"The Obama administration has filed three lawsuits against Arizona

in the last few weeks, one against a college district, one against the

state of Arizona and now one against my office. Each lawsuit centers

on something to do with alleged racial discrimination.

These actions make it abundantly clear that Arizona, including this

Sheriff, IS Washington's new whipping boy. Now it's time to take

the gloves off.

As for today's lawsuit against my office:

These people in Washington met with my attorneys only a few days

ago. And in that meeting, Washington got our cooperation; they admitted

they already have thousands of pages of the requested documents; and

they were given access to interview my staff and get into my jails.

They smiled in our faces and then stabbed us in the back with this

lawsuit. The Obama administration intended to sue us all along, no

matter what we did to try to avert it.

Washington isn't playing fair and it's time Americans everywhere wake

August 24, 2010 DEFENDMICHAEL.COM To all Michael Behenna supporters, With the Freedom Ride for the Leavenworth 10 almost here I wanted to give all of Michael’s supporters an update on his appeal. Seven long months after Michael’s lawyers filed his brief with the appellate court the government finally filed its response brief on July 20, 2010. As a government lawyer myself I have to say that I am very disappointed in the government’s brief. In my 22 years as a federal prosecutor I have never seen a government lawyer misrepresent facts to an appellate court as was done in this brief. I understand that a lawyer must advocate their position, but as a young lawyer in the Department of Justice I was taught that my primary goal was to seek justice. Justice requires that a prosecutor act fairly, ethically and in all things uphold the constitution which we are sworn to defend. Unfortunately, the principals of justice and professional ethics have been completely disregarded by the military lawyers in Michael’s case. They seemingly created facts to fit their arguments rather than argue the case on its merits. Michael’s lawyer Jack Zimmerman needed no less than 18 pages in his reply brief to correct the countless misrepresentations of fact repeatedly made by the government. It is a sad day for the military justice system for the government attorneys to be so disingenuous in their arguments. That being what it is the next step in the appeals process is for oral arguments to be made before the Army Court of Appeals. Once this is done then we wait for their decision which we pray will come before Christmas. We firmly believe that the truth will literally set Michael free when the appellate court applies the rule of law and reverses his conviction. One truth that Michael has learned from this unimaginable experience is that events don’t define a person; rather it is a person’s reaction to those events that defines them. We have seen our son at his best throughout this travesty of justice. He does not wallow in anger or bitterness and is using his time in prison to help those around him and to gain a deeper wisdom beyond his years. To paraphrase a few lines from the poem Invictus, ‘In the fell clutch of circumstance he has not winced nor cried aloud. Under the bludgeonings of chance his head is bloody, but unbowed.’ Michael is a rock and no amount of injustice will break his unconquerable spirit. Simon Deng is an American citizen from southern Sudan. He is also an escaped slave. Even the muslims themselves, I talked to hundreds of muslims, they agree, the mosque should not be here because of what happened here. The decent muslim agrees with all of you that the mosque, by being built here, it is an insult to those who died here. NO! NO! We, the New Yorkers, have to stand shoulder to shoulder, and stop this mosque.”

Simon Deng is not the son nor the great-grandson of a slave. He is an escaped slave. He was kidnapped at age 9 by an Arab moslem and taken down the Nile from southern Sudan. There are still open slave markets in Sudan’s cities today, under an Islamist dictatorship. In Mr. Deng’s case, he was given to an Arab family related to the slaver. He was treated like an animal, a sub-human by his master and the family.

Simon Deng is of the Shilluk tribe. The distinctive scarring decorating his brow is worn by all Shilluk men. At age 14 he escaped with the help of a Shilluk stranger who he recognized by his decorated brow. Millions of Sudanese black Africans have been killed by Arabs in recent decades, and many million more were enslaved for export to the middle east over the centuries of Arab colonization. Moslems still enslave blacks in a number of countries in Africa today.

Since slavery is permitted by Islamic law, Muslim countries have used secular law to ban it, but only due to pressure from western nations. Some countries outlawed slavery only recently: Qatar in 1952, Yemen and Saudi Arabia in 1962, Mauritania in 1980. But slavery continues on a smaller scale in a number of moslem countries due to custom and the fact that sharia law remains unchanged.

Simon Deng will lead the second SUDAN FREEDOM WALK from the United Nations in New York to the U.S. Senate in Washington, D.C. The march starts on September 28 from Dag Hammerskold Plaza, adjacent to the U.N. in Manhattan.

After the first Sudan Freedom Walk, two moslem men struck Mr. Deng with an automobile in an assassination attempt. With a broken shoulder, ribs, and two collapsed lungs, Mr. Deng was taken for dead, but was revived and spent two months in intensive care. It’s worthy to note here that our English word for assassination comes from the Arabic word for the same.

We are in a war and most Americans refuse to even see it.

Islam has come here. It is creeping across our culture. It is permeating our schools and influencing our children. It is a cultural invasion.....

Our great nation, this Republic of the United States of America, was founded on laws that were meant to protect the freedoms of our citizens.

Islam is the complete opposite.

Islam is complete and utter domination of all other cultures.

The very word, islam, means submission.

They do not believe in a peaceful co-existence.

They believe in slavery, servitude.

The very thought of a 'secular' government is abhorrent to them.....it is islam or none at all.

There is no in between.

Educate yourself. Study islam. Learn what is really going on so that you can teach your children and protect their future freedoms.

Apparently the mosque there doesn't have enough room for all of our 'peace-loving' (eyeroll) *muslim 'friends' (gag) so they have resorted to taking it to the street....literally.

Now, tell me this....could you and I, and about 100 plus of our friends, completely block off any major road ways for a Christian or Jewish prayer service?

The answer is a resounding, "NO!"

We would be arrested for disturbing the peace.

Do people not realize that our military is losing life and limb to this same fascist ideology that is free to publicly display their devotion to their 'god' that demands complete submission to them in our own country?

Side note: Not only does their so-called god demand complete submission, their little book of all things *islamic says that they can kill *non-muslims for not becoming *muslim. This is their peaceful religion? Get it through your head, terrorists are doing EXACTLY WHAT THE KORAN (I don't care how it's spelled) SAYS FOR THEM TO DO!

Has no one noticed that?

These United States, this Republic, was founded on Christian principals. There is no disputing that, it's a fact. And, yet, we can not display a nativity scene during the Christmas holiday season without a national uproar. We have major stores that refuse to use the name 'Jesus' or the word 'Christmas' and, in fact, people have been fired for wearing lapel pins that have the words 'God', 'Jesus' and 'Christ' written on them while working.

But, *muslims have every right to force feed us their own murdering, totalitarian political ideology under the guise of Freedom of Expression and Religion. It's insane and it's dangerous!

People, wake up! Use your freedom of speech BEFORE it's too late. Use it while we still have it, because if the muslims have their way we will not have it for long.

I will not submit. I will not be a dhimmi.

And, as long as the Constitution of the United States stays intact I will live as a free person and a citizen of the Republic of the United States of America!

Obama never told our military to pack up and come home, so I'm thinking that we are still at war...

I mean, we are still looking over our shoulders because some muslim freak is threatening to blow up a city or sneak anthrax across the Mexican border into mainland USA, right? We do still have brave men and women risking their lives, and too often losing their lives, to push back the tenents of islam, right?

3. Muslims all over the world scream that islam will dominate everyone and everything forcefully. The very word 'islam' means submission......

So....1 + 2 + 3 = We are at WAR with islam!

Okay, so now that we have figured out that we are war with islam let's look at what is treason....The Constitution of the United States says this, " Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. "

It would seem to me that this 'friend's house' is guarded by Soldiers of Allah....that would be the enemy.

Obama has repeatedly informed the muslim world that we really are all good buddies and that the mean ol' US of A is just baaaad.

What is that? Yeah, thanks a lot for using our own planes to bomb us on 9/11 and all of those 'death to america' chants are coming along lovely....He goes on in the same teleprompter guided breath to say.....

Just in April of this year, Obama has given aid and comfort to the muslim world.

President Obama said tonight that the U.S. will set up exchange programs with business people throughout the Muslim world as part of the overall outreach program he outlined last year.

"The new beginning we seek is not only possible, it has already begun," Obama told the Presidential Summit on Entrepreneurship in Washington, D.C.

Umm....why? Isn't that treason.....?

This is a man who is suppose to be the President of the United States! He skipped out on honoring over a million brave souls who have laid down their lives paying for our freedom to go to a 'friends' house, that just happens to have muslim guards around, and hang out! He refuses to stand up to Iran....tells Israel that they need to hand over all their nukes if they have them...refuses to show any papers proving that he is legally a natural born citizen...tells people that the Constitution is flawed and outdated....doesn't salute the flag...misquotes the Constitution....tells mayors and the like that they need to not run for reelection because they are making him and Democrat party look bad........Tell me you don't see something wrong in all of this! I dare you!
